Happy New Year, Charleston! January is one of the colder months in the Lowcountry, but that doesn’t stop us! Check out some of my top picks of highlights this January around town:
Plunge into the New Year with the Bill Murray Look-alike Polar Plunge on January 1st on Folly Beach. Luckily the event doesn’t start too early if you have a late night on New Years – registration begins at 11am. What a fun way to start the year with a contest and a challenge! For more information, check out the Charleston CVB.
During the entire month of January, Middleton Place is hosting an appreciation month for local residents. Residents of the Tri-County area (Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley) will enjoy half-price adult garden and stableyards admission. Residents must identify themselves at the Visitor Center with a valid SC photo ID.
