September is always a busy time of year in the Lowcountry. Everyone is trying to get their schedules adjusted with the kiddos back in school, but it’s fun to liven up the routine with events around the Lowcountry. Check out some of my favorites here:

Who let the dogs out? Charleston county parks are letting the pups take over the water parks after the season ends for us humans. Dates run September 7th, September 9th, and September 10th. For more information on this furry water frenzy, head over to Charleston CVB.
Here’s one for the ladies. On September 9th, we have the 2018 Firefighter Calendar Debut Party benefiting Toby’s Fund with Charleston Animal Society. Celebrate Charleston Beer Week with Bay Street Biergarten September 9th – 16th. Featuring $5 daily local pints, it’s a great chance to taste the local beer selections. Check out the Charleston CVB for more details.
Head out for a Sunday-Funday on King Street September 10th for Second Sunday on King! Enjoy vendors, music and a car free – King Street. Check the website for more details of the day and a free parking voucher!

Paws on the Patio is happening on September 14th to benefit The Charleston Animal Society. This event is a fun happy hour that includes your four legged friends! For more details of the event, check the Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre website.
